If you’re coming by car from the A75 Dumfries to Stranraer.
  • From the A75, take the A711 to Kirkcudbright.
  • Drive through the centre of the town keeping the Church to your right hand side.
  • Continue until you come to the caravan and camping sign on your left.
  • Turn left at this signpost into St. Mary’s Place.
  • Drive to the top of the hill, almost to the caravan site.
  • Turn right into Woodlands Avenue.
  • In 200m turn right into Rossway Road.
  • Benutium is the first house on the left hand side.
  • There is a brass number 2 on the gatepost and Benutium is written on the wall above the garage.
  • Park in the driveway to the right of the garage door, keeping access to the garage free. Thank you.


If you’re coming by car along the Solway Coast Heritage Trail (A710 Dumfries to Dalbeattie, A7111 Dalbeattie to Kirkcudbright):
  • The caravan and camping sign will be on your right as you enter the town of Kirkcudbright.
  • Turn right at this signpost into St. Mary’s Place.

  • Turn right into Woodlands Avenue.
